Panthers News · Delay in Return to Sports.

Sorry to report, we have to delay the beginning of training for sports again. As we go forward, we will always be cautious and make sure it is safe for everyone to return.

We will post again when it is safe to return to play. Until that time, we ask all athletes to keep training at home. Research videos for your skills and work hard so when we do return to play, Perris High School will be ready to win some Mountain Pass League Titles.

Below is the official statement from the district:

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recently issued a clarification regarding team sports that has delayed our July 6th planned start date until further notice. Youth team sports, including high school sports, are not yet permitted to practice, exercise, drill, or do conditioning of any type. CDPH plans to release guidance for team sports at a later, unspecified time. CIF is planning to release its competition calendar dates for the next year on July 20th. At that time the Perris Union High School District will develop a plan for the safe return to practice and competition in compliance with state and local health orders. Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.
